Bei BattleRPG  gibt es schon wieder eine neue Version: V7. Neu dabei jetzt:

  * Implemented a new more advance and more user friendly BattleRPG menu.
* New abilities: Loaded Artifacts, Loaded Weapons, Loaded Magic, Weapon Resurrection, Ammo Bonus, Mana Bonus and Mana Regeneration.
* New weapon magic: Infinity.
* New artifact: Max Magic +2
* Implemented console commands “brpg use artifact”, “brpg first artifact”, “brpg next artifact” and “brpg prev artifact” so people can bind this to keys.
* Created 3 example configurations: Standard Edition, Class Edition and Extreme Edition.
* Implemented a new (optional) flexible requirement system allowing player classes etc.
* Implemented support for Galtanor 007 now including BattleRPG levels in the Invasion scoreboard.

Mark Rein hat mal wieder ein Interview gegeben. Dieses mal hat er die Fragen von Guardian Unlimited beantwortet. Er hat sich u.a. auch zu den UT3 Verkaufszahlen geäussert:

Are you dissappointed by UT3 numbers on PC given that’s Epic’s traditional selling ground – seems Crysis and UT3 both did pretty badly when compared with the console big hitters around the same time (COD4 360 particularly).
It is amazing how people can look at two weeks of sales (in our case) in one single territory in the busiest Xmas sales season the industry has ever seen and come to the conclusion these titles are doing “badly”. I don’t think either title is doing so badly.

Crysis probably has 3-4x the marketing budget of UT3 and more mindshare because it is a PC-only, high-end, single-player oriented game. This isn’t the fastest selling UT title ever but it’s doing pretty well and we’re going to support it with some pretty cool things to help it keep selling over time.

Brad.G hat eine neue Version seines Tools UT 3 Tweaker veröffentlicht. Intergriert ist ab dieser Version z.B. auch der M&M Maps und Mutators Installer.

Unter dem Namen  Last Team Standing gibt es TAM in einer ersten, noch nicht ganz ausgereiften, Beta Version für UT3.

Lotus hat beschlossen UTComp für UT3, also CustomUT , aus Zeitgründen nicht mehr weiter zu entwickeln. Den Sourcecode wird er aber anderen Entwicklern zur Verfügung stellen.

BattleRPG von dem wir erst vor kurzem berichteten, gibt es schon wieder eine neue Version: V6.
